Stalagmite in Onandaga Cave Wood Print

Water dripping on the top of a stalagmite showing how they are formed. This was taken in Onandaga cave in Missouri. I was lucky enough to have the guid turn off the lighting behind the formation to allow me to get this shot. Otherwise, the water would have been nearly invisible. He was grateful that I could get the shot, since they had had difficulty showing this phenomenon. Apparently the cave was excited as well. That's all I'll say about that.
